  1. It is so neat to watch these grow from speckles on the fabric to recognizable images. Nice progress!

  2. That's exactly what I love the most about working with one color at a time, and starting with the confetti :))))

  3. I agree ... it's very interesting watching your pieces grow. I don't think I could do it like you do. I'm sure I would mess up my counting.

  4. Actually that's the best thing about starting with the confetti: even if I mess up the counting I don't have to frog too many stitches :D But I also mark the 10x10 grids on the mostly empty pages with my dissolving marker that disappears in a couple hours. :)))

  5. You have such lovely projects - so colourful! I am enjoying watching them grow.

  6. Interesting ... I didn't know there was ink that disappeared in a couple hours. LOL. You just burst my bubble. I thought you must have super vision to keep the counting so accurate.

  7. Elfie, thank you so much! :)

Marcy, LOL! Sorry to burst your bubble. If you're interested, this is the marker I use: http://www.markersupply.com/maerfama.html#.VQNH_I4yrwc I love that I don't need to wash it all the time to get the ink out of the fabric.

  8. It's like watching fuzzy pictures come into focus. Amazing!

  9. Your progress looks great =)
I am always fascinated how you can stitch the single stitches in such a huge project without miscounting ;-)

  10. Thank you! :))) Well, I do try to be extra careful when counting, but it's definitely easier on the pages that already have some stitches close by. For the rest, the dissolving marker is my best friend :DD

    1. Thank you! :) The problem with creating your own chart is once you start, you can't look at any images (be it paintings, posters or just a great-looking photo) without immediately going "I need to convert that into a chart!" :DDDD But that's the best kind of problem! :DDDD
